the information you provide is accurate and complete;
you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.
5. Professional Relationship
Purchasing or participating in my online programmes, digital assessments, workshops, webinars, REWILDING experiences or educational resources does not establish a physiotherapist-patient relationship or any other regulated healthcare relationship.
A professional clinical relationship is only established where I have expressly agreed to provide individual physical therapy, Pain Reprocessing Therapy-informed services or other professional services, and all appropriate assessment, informed consent and professional documentation have been completed.
The recommendations and educational material provided within my digital programmes are intended to support learning and self-understanding. They are not a substitute for personalized assessment, diagnosis or treatment by an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.
6. Educational Purpose
My work is grounded in current evidence from Physical Therapy, contemporary pain science, neuroscience, neuroplastic pain research, nervous system regulation, behavioural science and Pain Reprocessing Therapy.
I integrate these evidence-informed approaches into my own framework, The Explorer Method, which is designed to help people better understand persistent pain, neuroplastic pain, nervous system regulation, health behaviours and overall wellbeing.
The purpose of my educational programmes, workshops, digital resources and assessments is to increase understanding, encourage self-awareness and support informed decision-making.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, these services are educational in nature and are not intended to replace individual Physical Therapy, neuroplastic pain-informed treatment, medical care, diagnosis or treatment.
Every individual is different. While my programmes are based on current evidence and professional experience, I cannot guarantee specific outcomes, symptom improvement or recovery.
7. Medical Information
Although I am a CORU-registered Physical Therapist (Physiotherapist) with Advanced Certification in Pain Reprocessing Therapy and certification in Dr. Gabor Maté's Compassionate Inquiry-Informed approach, not every service I provide constitutes individual Physical Therapy or clinical treatment.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, my digital programmes, educational resources, workshops, REWILDING experiences and assessments are educational services. Nothing contained within these services should be interpreted as:
medical diagnosis;
Physical Therapy assessment or treatment;
individual neuroplastic pain-informed treatment;
Pain Reprocessing Therapy treatment;
psychological therapy;
psychiatric treatment;
emergency medical advice; or
a substitute for assessment by an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.
Where I provide individual services through The Explorer Method Chronic Pain Clinic, treatment may integrate Physical Therapy, neuroplastic pain-informed treatment, Pain Reprocessing Therapy, nervous system regulation and other evidence-informed approaches that fall within my professional qualifications and scope of practice.
If you experience new, worsening or concerning symptoms, or believe you require urgent medical attention, you should seek advice from your GP, consultant or another appropriately qualified healthcare professional without delay.
8. Self-Guided Chronic Pain Assessment
The Self-Guided Chronic Pain Assessment is a digital educational assessment designed to help you better understand factors that may be contributing to persistent pain, neuroplastic pain and related symptoms. The assessment is intended to provide educational guidance, promote self-awareness and encourage meaningful self-reflection.
It is not:
a medical examination;
a diagnostic test;
a Physical Therapy assessment;
an individual neuroplastic pain assessment;
a Pain Reprocessing Therapy assessment;
psychological therapy; or
a substitute for professional healthcare advice.
The assessment explores a range of factors that current research suggests may influence persistent pain and related symptoms, including physical symptoms, nervous system responses, stress, lifestyle, emotions, beliefs, behavioural patterns and personal experiences.
Because meaningful self-reflection can sometimes bring increased awareness, you may notice temporary changes in your thoughts, emotions or physical sensations while completing the assessment.
Some individuals may experience:
increased emotional awareness;
temporary emotional discomfort;
increased self-awareness;
changes in pain perception;
temporary increases or decreases in physical symptoms;
changes in physical sensations;
new personal insights.
These experiences vary considerably between individuals and do not necessarily indicate improvement, deterioration or a medical condition.
If, at any stage, completing the assessment causes significant emotional distress or concern about your physical or mental wellbeing, you should pause the assessment and seek appropriate support before continuing.
Following completion of the assessment, you will receive immediate access to your educational results, supporting resources and digital materials.
9. The REWIRE Programme
The REWIRE Programme is an educational programme designed to help individuals better understand persistent pain, neuroplastic pain, persistent symptoms, nervous system regulation and evidence-informed recovery principles.
The programme integrates education, guided exercises and practical strategies informed by Physical Therapy, contemporary pain science, neuroscience, Pain Reprocessing Therapy, behavioural science and nervous system regulation.
Participation may involve reflection upon:
emotions;
beliefs;
behavioural patterns;
stress;
habits;
nervous system responses; and
personal experiences.
As with any meaningful educational process, some participants may experience temporary emotional discomfort, increased emotional awareness, changes in physical sensations or temporary changes in symptoms while engaging with the programme.
Some participants may also become more aware of previously unrecognised emotional patterns, stress responses or behavioural habits that may influence their overall wellbeing. This increased awareness is a possible outcome of self-reflection and should not be interpreted as a medical or psychological diagnosis.
These responses are not experienced by everyone and vary considerably between individuals. You remain responsible for engaging with the programme at a pace that feels appropriate for you.
If you experience significant emotional distress or concerns about your physical or mental wellbeing, you should discontinue the activity and seek appropriate support from a suitably qualified healthcare professional.
Completion of the REWIRE Programme does not establish a Physical Therapist-client relationship and should not be interpreted as individual Physical Therapy, neuroplastic pain-informed treatment or Pain Reprocessing Therapy treatment.
10. One-to-One Services
Where I expressly agree to provide one-to-one services through The Explorer Method Chronic Pain Clinic, those services are provided separately from my educational programmes.
Depending on your individual circumstances and the service purchased, treatment may integrate Physical Therapy, neuroplastic pain-informed treatment, Pain Reprocessing Therapy, nervous system regulation, Compassionate Inquiry-informed principles and other evidence-informed approaches that fall within my professional qualifications and scope of practice.
Before individual professional services begin, appropriate assessment, informed consent and professional documentation will be completed in accordance with applicable professional, ethical and regulatory standards.
Recommendations made during one-to-one sessions are specific to the individual receiving those services and should not be applied by others without appropriate professional assessment.
11. REWILDING Wellbeing Experiences
REWILDING is a series of educational and wellbeing experiences designed to promote nervous system regulation, movement, community connection and overall wellbeing. Activities may include, but are not limited to:
guided breathwork;
movement practices;
dance;
sauna;
cold-water immersion;
mindfulness;
nervous system regulation exercises;
educational talks;
music and silent disco experiences; and
other wellbeing activities.
Participation is entirely voluntary.
You are responsible for ensuring that you are medically fit to participate and for informing me of any medical conditions, injuries or other relevant circumstances that may affect your ability to participate safely.
Some activities involve physical exertion, temperature exposure and emotional reflection. You should participate at your own pace and stop immediately if you feel unwell, unsafe or are instructed to do so.
12. Emotional and Physical Responses
Many of my educational programmes, assessments, workshops, REWILDING experiences and one-to-one services encourage meaningful reflection on thoughts, emotions, beliefs, behaviours, stress, nervous system responses and life experiences. As a result, some individuals may experience temporary emotional or physical responses during or after participation.
These responses may include:
increased emotional awareness;
temporary emotional discomfort;
relief;
cramping
insight;
fatigue;
increased body awareness;
temporary changes in pain or other symptoms;
temporary changes in stress levels;
changes in physical sensations; or
greater awareness of emotional, behavioural or nervous system patterns.
These responses vary considerably between individuals and are not experienced by everyone.
While increased self-awareness can be a valuable part of the learning process, it may also feel emotionally challenging at times.
You remain responsible for deciding how you engage with my services and for working at a pace that feels appropriate for you.
If at any stage participation causes significant emotional distress or concerns regarding your physical or mental wellbeing, you should discontinue the activity and seek appropriate support from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.
13. Artificial Intelligence (AI)
To support the quality, accuracy and efficiency of my one-to-one professional services, I may use, only with your consent, secure artificial intelligence (AI) tools to assist with:
transcribing sessions;
organising clinical notes;
generating detailed summaries of our discussions;
identifying key themes and patterns explored during sessions; and
assisting me in developing more personalised, structured and effective treatment plans and educational guidance to support your recovery.
These tools are used solely to support the quality and continuity of my professional services and do not replace my professional judgement. All clinical reasoning, recommendations, treatment decisions and professional opinions remain entirely my responsibility.
Where AI is used:
I will always obtain your informed consent before using AI in connection with your sessions.
Participation is entirely optional, and you may withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the services you receive.
Before information is processed by an AI tool, I take reasonable steps to remove personally identifying information wherever practicable. This includes information such as your name, date of birth, email address, home address, telephone number and other direct identifiers.
The purpose of using AI is solely to assist in producing accurate session summaries, organising information discussed during our sessions and supporting me in creating more personalised and effective treatment plans and educational guidance. It is not used to make clinical decisions independently.
Any third-party AI provider used to process session information will handle that information in accordance with its own privacy and security practices. While I choose reputable providers and take reasonable steps to protect your confidentiality, no online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
By consenting to the use of AI within your one-to-one sessions, you acknowledge that de-identified session information may be processed by these tools for the limited purposes described above.
Please note: AI is used only as an administrative and clinical support tool. It does not replace the professional expertise, clinical reasoning or therapeutic judgement that I apply throughout our work together.
